United States: a country or a babysitter?

ok so everyone knows about that Japan earthquake.  How can the US afford to send billions of dollars to them when we are just barely making it by?  Let Europe deal with it they are doing just great or Canada, they never help with anything anyways.  I know that it was a tragedy and they should recieve help but not the US.  Why do we need to feel important?  There are other of highly qualified countries out there like China or Russia and India.  Wake up Obama this isnt going to solve our debt problem.  We are about 15 trillion in debt and we have to pay it off and work to be way above debt.  You give help to countries like Japan but wont help Libya which is a human conflict and is more deadly and wrong.  Wake up USA!
